Are we starting over?

Well, it looks like our attorney 'lost' the last round of 'negotiations' with the Guatemalan social worker. She is going to do another interview with the birth mother, birth mother's father, and a translator. Hopefully this will at least get us back on track.
Bottom line though, is that it's still going to be a while before we get home...
This past month we've just done seemingly so many things over that we did back in the beginning of this process, fingerprints, family court, etc...
This Saturday marks one full year since we got our referral, the day we first saw his picture. He was so young and sleeping so peacefully in the picture. Though we know he is definitely worth it, we just never thought it would be such a long ride.
As my wife put it best, we've now been through every holiday without him, and it looks like we'll spend several of them twice with him away from us.

I have a few things 'brewing' in my head that I hope to write soon, but hope everyone is well until then.
