that some folks in the Guatemalan government apparently decided to take an extra day off. Yesterday was a Guatemalan holiday, but on the Congressional agenda today in Guatemala were two laws unfriendly to international adoption. It's not confirmed, but as things seem to stand right now, nothing happened because there wasn't a quorum. I guess that's not to say it's still not lurking out there somewhere, but around here, we take everything one day at a time.
As to hearing anything about our case, nope, still didn't happen today either. I guess we'll just keep waiting. What other choice do we have?
